The club is based at Romiley Marina Pool, which is situated on Holehouse Fold, just off the main road,
which connects Bredbury and Romiley. Click on the address above to see a map of where we are.
The mission of the committee and staff of Romiley Marina Swimming Club is to promote the teaching
and practice of swimming and related arts to the highest possible level, while providing a secure caring
environment where the uniqueness of each member (adult or child) is valued and updated. Within
this environment we endeavour to create a relaxed, yet orderly climate, which enables the members
to take pleasure from their swimming and pride in their performances, in the full knowledge that
talents of all kinds will be recognised and nurtured.
Romiley Marina Swimming Club is an integral part of the community and as such, strong links exist
between schools, home and other swimming clubs. Parents are encouraged to take an active part
in the development and growth of their child during his/her stay with Romiley. We regard parental
cooperation and involvement as essential at all stages of the child’s development.

Normally there is no waiting list for the big pool. We offer swimmers that can do 25m on their back and have some idea of breast stroke/front crawl a trial on a Friday evening to assess their ability and then offer them a place (if we have room).
There is a waiting list - again, please contact Lindsay Hegerty via email rmscfriday@hotmail.co.uk or fill in this form - click here
